Harmolodics Quartet

The Harmolodics Quartet has been Playing together for Four years after meeting at the

University Of Michigan. Based around Ornette Coleman’s concept of Harmolodics, the Quartet

plays standards and originals in the Black American Music tradition. The Harmolodics quartet

is rooted in Swing and the Blues and stretches to the Post Bop influences of the Second Great

Quintet led by Miles davis.The Harmolodics Quartet formed out of the Chorldess Trio, led by

Benjamin Green alongside Seamus Lynch on Bass and David Ward on Drums. With the addition

of Jordan Anderson on piano, the Harmolodics Quartet was complete. The Harmolodics

quartet plays out of the Ornette Coleman songbook as well a variety of

standards and originals composed by all members of the band.
