"Benjamin Green is a Detroit native based in Ann Arbor MI. Benjamin Received his BA in Jazz Studies from the University of Michigan in May of 2020 after spending the previous four years Studying with masters such as Benny Green, Bob Hurst, Andrew Bishop, Ellen Rowe, and Bill Lucas. Ben reveres  artists such as Ornette Coleman, Freddie Hubbard, Clifford Brown, Phineas Newborn jr., Don Cherry, and many others. Benjamin Leads the Benjamin Green Chordless Trio as well as the Benjamin Green Harmolodics Quartet which plays music in the style of the late Great Ornette Coleman."
